Ingrid has been inspired by the power of images for most of her life. As a child growing up in Germany in the hotel of her parents, she often observed people coming and going. This provided her first interest in body language and was the beginning of her fascination with people.

At thirteen, she received her first camera, and built her first improvised darkroom. Later, in Hannover and Berlin, she studied art, literature, and philosophy. As well as photography, she immersed herself for a time in the world of moving images and received awards and recognition for her film work.

Ingrid moved to Seattle in 1997 with her spouse, Frank Sheldon. One of her first jobs was doing covers and editorial images for SeattleWoman Magazine. Photography for business is Ingrid’s mainstay, and she finds great inspiration in helping people to reveal themselves at their best. She does everything from unique headshots for the individual to creating a specific look for companies and businesses. On larger projects, she enjoys working with art directors, designers, writers, and other team members.

Her branding sessions will help you find the style that reflects and supports what you uniquely have to offer. This includes choosing clothes, consulting on hair and makeup, image ambiance, locations, use of props, staging images of you working with your clients, and more.
