At her Seattle Photography studio and on location, Ingrid does head shots and portraits for businesses and individuals. She has covered events for Denali Advanced Integration, The Women's Funding Network and other organizations and companies. She is currently under contract with the Port of Seattle doing group and individual shots for their re-branding project. Her editorial work as the listed photographer for Seattle Woman Magazine has led to two awards for "Excellence in Journalism" from The Society of Professional Journalists, Western Washington Pro Chapter. BA in Art at the Fachhochschule fuer Gestaltung in Hannover, Germany. Master of Arts in Literature and Philosophy at the University Hannover. She did concept, direction, cinematography, sound, and editing on films in the 80s. Her films were shown at international festivals and "Gerda," her own 16 mm color experimental film, won First Prize at Filmdays Salzgitter in 1984. A few years after moving to America, Ingrid answered her new calling and now devotes herself full-time to photography.
